Damn straight! That's what they are designed for

I've had a couple tonight as preventative measures for tomorrow night

Completed my three in three this evening.

    Three races in three days.

Two PB's and a joint second in tonights club race. A classic eyeballs out AS up Pike low Nr Margary Hill no one could get near Al Ward though

3.35 miles 800ft 29.18 minutes. beautiful evening shorts and vest
    Local knowledge definately helped.

Next race is Wednesday big Q though should I rest tommorrow

Good effort Ian, must be tempting to keep your 'streak' going

Hour or so last night with club on Brett's birthday run. Beautiful evening to be out after a grey rainy day. Good to meet Steve from IOM - safe journey home mate

Same as IDP actually, summer race no. 2 - Pike Low Direct. Thought I wasn't tired after Kinder Downfall until I set off then the legs went to jelly. Still, a glorious evening for it and a new bit o' the world to see.

A very wet but enjoyable (2/3rds flat) 4 miles on road, towpath and woodland embankment. Very quiet out there tonight (8pm) - one other runner and a couple of mountain bikers.

An easy trot along the cliff tops at lunchtime, visibility down to less than 100m in the drizzle.

Followed by half a mile in the pool before Tea.

Hopefully another couple of weeks of this real easy stuff and all the winter niggles will be gone.
Frequent but moderate workouts on a consistent basis are the key to success
