Mine I reckon is coming along a treat although now has gone very stiff because of the cast. Off to physio and the orthopedic specialist again next week. Once seen the specialist I will go to a proper sports physio and see what they say.

Oh and the joys of the NHS physio have to be heard to be believed. She wants to try to recreate the conditions when I hurt my ankle. Now bear in mind the High Peaks Marathon was where I did it I am dreading this! Can just see me paddling around in a bath of mud and ice cubes whilst she turns the lights off in the room??
LOL Ant... only at the anology mind not the predicament....guess I won't be seeing you at the next AR in May then?

You probably will see me there! Unless the mud bath gets the better of me. Quite easy events as if hurting I can just get on the bike.

Hope to strap it up and run the 3 peaks but seems unlikely. Will wait till seen the sports physio before I rule it in or out.

Did first one out near macclesfield. Came in 5th despite some stupid route choices and a hangover. I think all the D & W events are top notch! Mate did the last one and said it was another hilly affair!

Even tempted to do the June skins night adventure race after running Ennerdale during the day.

Oh and hoping a new bike will be getting its first run out at Open 5! Instantly lose 4 1/2 kilos in weight with a decent bike and have brakes and gears that work!

You decided on the open 12 or 24 yet?

really want to do the 24 can't do the 12 as will be in Nice for the Ironman....we came 3rd in our category at the skins in grindleford....loved it though but again some route choices could have been better but agree on the open 5 being really well run in fact better than skins but i like the fact i won a prize at skins!!

If you need a partner for 24 I could very easily be tempted.

You injured now? How come you not doing the 3 peaks?

    I CAN RUN!!!!

I know I did a sneaky 45 mins a couple of days ago but now the Physio says it is okay as long as the terrain is FLAT. Obviously I missed out the bit about me "testing" it but is great that I can now do it and not have to sneak around like a druggie getting my (running) fix.

    3 Peaks here I come!

Excellent news Tony but my definition of flat doesn't quite tally with the 3 Peaks
