Was it you I bumped into at Mam Nick as I drove down to Edale?

Thanks to all the orgaisers, a great night out again, but it didn't feel like it at the time, hardest I've known it personally because I was so tired after a mad week, literally fighting to keep awake over Bleaklow and slowing the Bladers down, but dead chuffed to get round in and have a run in with the nuns.

Woweeee, what a fantastic event  First HPM & first over nighter (since my party days that is) hats off to the navigators, its hard!
Big thanks to the organisers & marashalls, and of course to my team mates (calder valley) Special thanks to Mrs Stagger, think we managed to gossip pretty much the whole way round, it does make the time fly by
Hopefully see you all again next year!!

PS Lost property - managed to leave my black trail blaze poles in the hall, propped up next to the tea & coffee table. Please let me know if they turn up anywhere, I have a friend who lives locally who may be able to pick them up - thankyou

This was my first HPM. What an event! Thankyou so much to all the organisers and a special thanks to the marshals. At times it was pretty grim out there and to be cheered and encouraged through by lovely people in fancy dress was a real boost. Despite feeling a bit broken, I've already got that "next year" feeling.

Not a good first time for me, a member of our team started getting stomach cramps at Win Hil, they got worse and by Moscar he was close to losing conciousnous, he retired there. The rest of us carried on plum last, we started to overtake a few teams, but another team members knee started to trouble him and by cut gate he could barely walk, we walked him down to the emergency camp at slippery stones with the intention of continuing, we were told however that we would not be allowed to, so there ended our race. I'm not put off, I know that without these problems we had ten and a half hour potential and will be submitting an entry next year.

What an amazing experience. It was our first time and we managed to find our way round with ease thanks to our top navigators Phil and Jackie. It was quite a sight seeing all the lights behind us, like something out of an alien film. The section from Outer Edge to Swaines Head seemed endless and I can't believe how quickly the hours slipped by. By dawn the mist had come in with a bit of drizzle for good measure but it didn't dampen our spirits. Thanks to Tea & Cake for keeping me entertained - that's what makes these things doable, having a good friend who you can talk drivvle to for 12 and a half hours. Thanks to the organisers for making us feel very welcome and the CP marshals were just the best, well done guys and gals. How do you stay so chirpy at 3 o'clock in the morning?

I felt like I'd been run over by a bus when I got out of bed this morning but I'm starting to feel human again, roll on next year!!

Great event as usual, great support and a very nice atmosphere pre and post race. Toughest conditions I've ran it in, it all looked promising early on, clear skies and a good chance of frozen ground somehow turned into gloopy peat with thick cloud on the hardest part of the course.

Just got 3rd again, managed to fend off a late surge from IanDP's team.

I struggled most of the way, been much quicker than that and not felt so shattered at the end.

Good pictures Willy. the visibility may explain our extended route from Brown Knoll to Rushup.

Great event again. Well done to the organisers and the check point marshalls who always have cheerfull recieption sat out in the cold.

Great event yet again.. Had a good run with no real mistakes which was quite good after only meeting the other half of the team an hour before we started. Bumping in to Ian DP on route to swains head worked good for our moral as at least we knew we were going the right way.. Thanks to all the marshals who made us smile on more than one occasion.. Definitely be back next year for a third attempt .....
