Today's Bike Ride

Couldn't decide on a run or a ride but given the spring like weather opted for a ride. 30 miles in the late afternoon sun; pushing to get back before the lights were needed. Not very quick as it's been a while but ave was 17.1mph and with lots of chuffin traffic lights all of which were on red it wasn't a bad effort given the lack of training let alone cycling!

Was going to take my bike on a little holiday, I can fly it out there but not back again

Oh dear, a TRIPLE...

I am still not riding after my op...

But there is hoping I don't need a follow up op, which would mean I can get back to training in February and will still have a season of racing, allbeit a late one, fingers crossed! :0

I'm still in awe of how fast they are on the road...obviously, but its a big difference for me!

Just nipped round the Ribble Valley this afternoon, with the Pendle climb from Sabden and Whalley Nab thrown in to get the legs working a bit.

Lets us know when you're out an about half the Bowland massif bike Hursty up that way too you'd be more than welcome just don't plan to back for a certain time as 'mad dog' is a bit unreliable in that department!!
