What a great race. I did it in the mid 60's but thought I should have been faster.
I wore my walsh's and had reasonable grip most of the way.
I lost places on the ups and downs but made them back on the flat.
The start I found was a bit of a lottery because 360 will not go in to 1 but once we were on the top it was good.
I was shocked that a 10k would take me that long but I now have full respect for the runners who do this every week. It is much much tougher style of running.
The people all seem a lot friendlier though. Everyone I spoke with in the pub was great.
Many thanks to the host club.
