Parking
The race marshals will direct you to the fell race car parks.
Please do not park on the station approach (Outside the Station/Penny Pot Café)
Please car share.
Registration
Race registration is in Edale Village Hall. The hall is next to the main Edale car park.
Food And Drink
Refreshments will be available in the Village Hall after the race.
Certificates
If you complete the run, collect your certificate from the Village Hall
Prize Giving
As soon as possible. Hopefully about 3pm.
Race Instructions
Please carry the requested kit. Kit checks including spot checks will be made.
If you retire from the race you must report back to Edale Village Hall, even if you have reported your retirement to a marshal.
Keep to the paved path on the zig-zags where the course is marked at both the start and the finish of the race and where the course has been paved, please try to keep to the paving stones (NT request).
If you don't reach Mam Nick within two and a half hours of the start you will be timed out. You must report back to the village hall in Edale – this is non-negotiable.
The checkpoints are 1. Ringing Roger(no numbers taken) 2. Win Hill 3.Hope 4.Lose Hill 5.Mam Tor/Mam Nick 6.Lords Seat 7.Brown Knoll 8.Jacobs Ladder 9.Grindslow Knoll 10.Ringing Roger. Marshalls should be recording numbers at points 2-10.
When asked please be sure to tell the race marshals your race number.
Be careful along the road in Hope before going up to Lose Hill and at Mam Nick.
No dogs are allowed on the race.
Horses, walker and cyclists have just as much right to be on the hill as you. Please don’t give other hill users abuse- even if they do get in your way. If you do we would have to consider disqualification.
