I followed the stream gully (just below cp2) down into the wood and found no sign of a path so decided to keep following the stream - i'm still picking various pieces of foliage out of my gruffnuts now!

I enjoyed the leg and just wish i'd had the courage of my convictions between cp1 and 2 as i lost a couple of minutes fannying around when i had the right line all along (more luck than judgement i should add!)

There was a wee path to the left (as you descended) of the stream gully that led through the trees. Looking at the split times, it appears most found it! Either that or I was going even slower than I thought along that track and up the final climb!!!
