    I would second that re. Ascends: superb for hardpack trail / gravelly bridlepath / forest trail etc with road sections, esp. if you have long distance to cover, but too much cushioning for rougher trails and steeper terrain, when I'd put on my Kanadias.

    V comfortable, great shoe to take away on holiday for instance as an all-rounder.
