    GM, IIRC, the route goes up Lingmell Nose ( steep & grassy ) across Lingmell Col then gets rocky & slippy on the final pull up to Scafell Pike; turn and retrace.

    Best take everything ( cag, leggings, hat, gloves, map, whistle & food ) in case the RO tells you to carry it
