Heyup, for those in need of a 'Plan B or C' on 4th Dec, there is always the glorious 5m Gravy Pud (EOD) from Tintwistle (Bulls Head) at 11.00 am, out and over Lees Hill and back, with post-run cake, cake, and more cake. Yes, my team of cake bakers are committed to getting baking (I just managed to convince them tonight). If 5 miles sounds too short to roll out of bed for (MC?) then you could always tag on a piece (loop) of the Crowden-Shelf-Snake fells to the day's outing before / after G'Pud. Just a thought for those of you've already committed cash to travel to these lovely parts, as well as those who haven't.
