Thanks both. Sounds interesting and I may well check it out, but it sounds like it'll be a bit much for the round itself. I think I'll probably recce LR/WWT nearer the time to check conditions and if they're ok, that'll be the option for me. I would go for Foxes Tarn with the traverse at the start if things look dodgy, but only if it were dry. Having tried the traverse last year, for me, it's no safer and definitely no quicker than LR/WWT.
