Well WP if Wiggins is great then so are Oscar Pereiro and Carlos Sastre, both of whom are recent winners of the Tour but names you rarely find on the pages of the Daily Mail because they were born in the wrong country.

And OK if Wiggins is great (and British) where does that leave Anquetil, LeMond, Merckx, Coppi, Kelly? "very great", "super great"; or just foreigners?
