I'm exactly the same. I'm a sugar fiend apparently, it is horrifying! If it helps, I've been informed that a bowl of strawberries (on their own without cream or sugar) is an excellent thing to have if you are a sugar monster because they are low GI and so the energy is released more slowly (or something like that). I'm sure someone more knowledgeable will be along to explain it properlyI was given a load of homemade fudge at Open Studios and now I am having to avoid the kitchen at all costs because I have no willpower!
Interestingly, my sodium levels are way, way below the recommended amount. If I could stomach salt in my tea, perhaps that would solve that!
