Let's not get too tied up with rules, it's all a bit of fun - isn't it? I think in the original discussion (18 months ago) about LDWA events it was suggested they should also meet FRA criteria of distance/ascent ratio, but I prefer the looser "anything you're not embarassed to claim on a fellrunning forum".
