Buy me enough good wine and I will expound on la politique des auteurs at length, not that Woody Allen helps there, but Cate Blanchett was brilliant as the right actress in the right part with the right script and the right Director (same person) whereas Alec Baldwin was the wrong actor etc etc.

So three cheers to the Casting Director, the unsung hero/heroine (s) of the movie business. What? Who?
