So you just take enough to cope for a few hours, not the full 9-14 hrs or whatever?
The empty water bottles is what we do on long fell races and ultras, think we'll do the same.
Its hard to know how long it will take, all of us are quite experienced ultra runners/fell runners and Mountain Marathoners. Normally I'd have a clue of a target time but for this I'm at a total loss.
Main aim is to complete, enjoy it, and finish within 12 hrs, but I don't know how feasible that is, especially the 'enjoy it' bit!
