We've a strong team I reckon, all fairly laid back and I'm fairly sure will react well to slow members, getting lost and any other issues.

I think this is the first race where I've got little idea of what to expect, how much you see others in the race, how your pace is affected at night over the moors, how the navigation differs at night etc.

Looking forwards to it, but realise its going to be a long night.
Hi Iain

I introduced my self at the Trial last week

I've not done this before but have done other night runs and have run large portions of this route regularly.
Unless there is a drought or a hard frost I think times will be down this year as it is very very wet on the watershed at the moment. You can't run as fast in the dark so if you were thinking on time over the known distance I would add about 20-30% to that time to be realistic. The navigation from Swains Head to Bleaklow Head i would say is the crux after that it's just keeping going. Went past the Outer edge BM earlier this week and he's looking very hungry so beware that section also.

Does any one disagree with this...?
