The other end of the field! - slowcoach could be applied to me as well! In long fell races you will see me nearer the back than front for sure - 3hr 30 for Sedbergh Hills isn't exactly pulling up trees![]()
My 5 months prep refers to recces etc rather than serious mileage. The 2 months to now has been average 22 miles per week - but with a determination not to get injured and this week is the 1st week of my build up to a maximum of 45 miles per week by March - all being well.
But thanks all for your help on this - it looks like I will be entering - and running as long as my prep has gone according to plan.
