Done v little this week ...even less than normal as been full of cold since Wednesday night so just 4 miles at dusk on Tuesday and just under 5 miles yesterday 80% off road.

See Fetcheveryone for my regular updates - same nickname on there.

For the week - mon - fri - cycled to work 5 out of 5. 90 miles total. Nice one. One soaking, Wednesday morning. Tuesday toes were freezing..and that was setting off after 9.30 a.m.. Apart from that not a bad weather week. No punctures.

Played badminton on Thursday for first time in over 15 years and enjoyed it. Did my 4.75 circuit round Salford Quays in 32.30.on Wed lunch, quite a bit faster than recent efforts. .. just realised i've only run once since racing last Sunday. Done nowt today. Lostock 6 tomorrow.
Good effort that Paul glad to see my post is taking effect

Ran the Kirkintilloch 12.5k road race, hilly (only around 500ft but thats a lot in a road race) and strong winds especially in the middle 2k and final 2.5k meant it was hard work. First three runners all slower than last year but I improved by around 20 seconds so pleased with a pb and 30th overall (around 12th vet I think). I had planned to head into the hills this afternoon but I am bushed now, might just have an easy jog as the dog needs taking out and an early night I think. Tired and pleased.

Did 7.24 mile today on the roads. Had hoped to do Lostock 6 but was feeling the effects of yesterdays Standish Race a wee bit and getting up a few times in the night to the little fella. So decided to do a local road run instead very wet and windy this morning

21.79m on singlespeed crosser. Up over Soyland Moor down into Cragg Vale, up to Stoodley Pike, plenty carrying and grunting, down to Top Brink pub following same route as Stoodley Pike fell race. Back on road to Summit pub, up to White House same route as White Holme Circular, more carrying and grunting. Really beasted it up hill to White House, resisting the urge to have a pint of Guinness. Back down road to Ripponden. Is that ok FREDDIE, or should i go round again after tea

Had a kip this afternoon and woke up feeling great. After a late lunch the sun looked lovely and despite a cold wind I decided to take the dog for a run. 8 miles on local forest trails, mostly out of the wind, but it blew in a mega sleet storm for 10 minutes or so leaving a dusting of white on the hills. Happy to clip round in 8's feeling good. Just need to be careful this week, backing off for a hilly 10 on roads next weekend.

I hope everyone not injured is happy!!!

Sorry Merrylegs but unless you actually run it doesn't count

Nope but I did dig a twenty yard long trench in the back garden if that counts!
