57 miles/2700' on the bike up to and around Settle. Will try a run in the morning and see if my calf can cope as it's still a little tight from the race on Saturday.

    Re: Today's Training

5 miles on undulating forest trails taking it easy after good weekend.

Wet and black with the rain clouds and trees, so I could hardly see the trees 10feet on either side sometimes. Plodding along, & sure THEY were behind me. The dog seemed scared so I had her run along with me for bit Wind seemed to be funneled into me most of the way round even though it was a cirlcular route!!!

    Great fun

    Re: Today's Training

I did my 6 mile Sunday morninger up Attamire Scar, done though on a Monday night as a solo bat run. My left knee is finally getting better (touches wood, throws salt over his shoulder, kisses rabbits foot etc) and I could run fast downhill again, at long bleeeeeding last . My running up hill was a bit more eratic with my long 'un from Saturday still having an affect but did a pb all the same - 1 hour almost to the second

    Re: Today's Training

Well it wasn't really training - it was a run, in the dark, with me head torch, in the fells. I've said it before, training is running the canal out of Leeds city centre on a lunch time ...... with all the other saddos and I only do it when desperate. Or its doing interval training or hill reps or, heaven forbid, running round a track

But I wanted to keep Freddie happy with a contribution to the thread, is all.
