Nice to see my two mates got a mention for being the first walkers back. Apparently the winner Mr Duckegg has been trying to win it for 8 years, and now is a legend, bless him. Some people will do anything to get their names in the paper, well done Duckegg
The main thing is the £15,000 raised for charity and the fact that everyone enjoyed it. Big thanks to everyone behind it, especially the top old dears in the kitchen making tea, soup and sandwiches for the finishers, one of them told me she'd been up for 24 hours, they are proper legends

To fix one of the big 'puters. He turned up at 10. Unfortunatley the parts, which had been shipped from Holland weren't with him. And then they finally turned up at 11, but at our other site. So I went belting up the M6 and back to pick them up. Hopefully now the 'puter will stop crashing every hour which means that my phone will stop ringing with people telling me that the 'puter is broken.

Then I went to have more needles stuck in me...
