4 mile to work, 4.8 mile/1209ft off road home, knee still tight, but a lot better than it was. Cold this morning, early doors, warm and sunny at 2pm

I'll try to make it clear to Ken that it's not nice to kill people, 'specially club mates.

Had a cracking weekend away in the Dales and three top runs :

    1. From Cracoe up to the war memorial on the fell, out 'n' back, 40mins
    2. Circular from Burnsall - south along the Wharfe then up to Simon's Seat, down to the river again then up onto Barden Moors past the two reservoirs before coming off the top down to Burnsall. 2 1/2 hours.
    3. Up Burnsall fell from the village then back the same way (I didn't fancy tussling with all that heather & rock coming down the race route). 23mins and had the fell to myself.

Itching to get back there again now....

Well I have this week off but can't flaming well run due to my injured calf. I still went for a great little walk around Stainforth, up to Catrigg Force on the Pennine Bridleway, back following and criss-crossing the beck (no path) to Stainforth and then down to probably the best summer swimming hole in the Dales on the Ribble nearby. I didn't bother with a cliff jump today though .

Hardly any miles and very little in the way of climb either but still a lovely day for a wander.

Nice steady 5 on local back roads, hill and sunny. ITS LIGHT.

Been a busy weekend, as well as a long run on Saturday so not feeling fast but happy.

Congrats Freddie, its a decent run and you were flying at half way so just have faith in the miles you've banked and allow your self to ease off now. Remember its only road, the real stuff comes later on the fells.

Also well done Andi on a cracking run in Edinburgh.

A few of us had been on a ride round Ingleton & Ribblehead last July and came back past Stainforth and all ended up in the foss with a couple of us repeatedly jumping in off the rocks. It was very warm and pretty busy at the camp site next door and there were even topless female sunbathers (at Stainforth!!!!!!! (and female!!!!!!!!!!!!))
