    Some nice knee deep bogs to contend with!!
    It's fairly easy going because most of the climb is on hard tracks, the open moor bit is fairly flat or with slight gradient (apart from of course the last bit up to the summit)

    Should be running providing the evil witch-slag boss goes home early.

    Met you last year chris, about a week before the race on the track from marl pitts up to liver hill, I carried on down to Water and you were making your way back to Bacup.

    Yes I remember. I was feeling rough and I didn't do the race.

    Just come back from Liver hill training run, nice and boggy, just what the doctor ordered .Top of the hill would be a great place to watch from, apart from the first climb/decent you can see damn near all the race.
    I was thinking the brave could hurdle one of the fences, you might leave your teabags on the barbs though.
