No not seen them Live but if they do the Echo Arena may make the effort to go. Saw Simple Minds supported by China Crisis a few years ago at Liverpool best support group I have seen they was great.

received this email about start of april

Ian McCulloch has just announced live on Radio City that Echo & The Bunnymen will be playing the new Liverpool Arena on the 27TH November 2008.
The Bunnymen will be the first Liverpool band to ever headline the venue. Tickets can be purchased via the link in the Live section of this website or via 24HR hotline 0844,800400 .
The Liverpool Echo Arena has a capacity of 10,000 so get your tickets and lets sell it out like the Albert Hall. If you missed the broadcast you can still listen to it by visiting the Official Echo & The Bunnymen Forum at Bunnymen.com
    Thanks
    The Bunnymen

Feel good music, cos i feel as rough as a bears rrrrrrr's.
This reminds me of biggest son and taking him to Uni in Scarborough for the first time, we sang it all the way, strange choice of music for him as he was into Fear Factory, Killswitch Engage, System of a Down and all other weird and wonderful things at the time
