See you there plumbum.
See you there plumbum.
Trunce tonight, last run before the PPP and my cold is going fast. Not going to be racing "he say's" just a pacey run round to stretch the legs.
I was that sad person at the stile asking people not to jump the Q.![]()
How many of you were there?
300?

261 Seniors started (1 retired early doors) so 260 finished. Out of that 260 there was 2 runners that hadn't registered, ever, so didn't have numbers (which, understandably, threw Martin into a wobbly
).
Came to work early this morning and sat in the peace and have sorted it out now.
On top of the 261 seniors we had 36 juniors.
Next race the intention is to have the juniors go the opposite way round their loop.
Turn right at the end of the track, instead of straight down to THE stile and come back up to it from the river.
If the timing is right all the seniors will have reached the river before the fast juniors start the ascent.
With 20 to 30 less at the stile on the way out, and fast juniors not jumping the queue, all will go a little smoother, and people will not have 2.5 minutes wait.
What about a handicap system?
People set off in groups of 5 or so every minute.
I know it would mean being there until midnight, but.......
No swearing PlumBum
My 2nd trunce last night. Loving them - more than worth the drive thru from LeedsBut conscious of being a johnny-come-lately and adding to your numbers headache! Thanks to evreyone involved in making them happen. Was told last night that you get points for every pb. Wish I'd known that before the first one cos I flattered myself with a pretty good time which might be hard to beat, but I guess that's the challenge! Saw some rather dapper looking trunce tshirts last night. Anyone any details?
