Even the 17 mile is hods longer than anything I have ever ran before but then I've got nothing else to do that weekend. Should I have a go at the 17 mile route? I wonder???????????
DJ, I am already looking forward to nabbing a bit of your carrot cake at the end...I even think it might make me get to finish quicker.
You can actually decide on the day which distance you want to do.

When is The Fairfield Horseshoe? ... ooh I do love that route, apart from the day I was trotting along the return route and fell down a bog up to my waist! Was quite a fashion statement wearing my waterproof trousers turned up to mid calf, back to ambleside in the height of summer!
