Even the 17 mile is hods longer than anything I have ever ran before but then I've got nothing else to do that weekend. Should I have a go at the 17 mile route? I wonder???????????

When is The Fairfield Horseshoe? ... ooh I do love that route, apart from the day I was trotting along the return route and fell down a bog up to my waist! Was quite a fashion statement wearing my waterproof trousers turned up to mid calf, back to ambleside in the height of summer!

I meant the pace, but now you mention it,,,,,,, cant make Coniston, walking yes walking with friends over Middleton in Teesdale
