I'm going to try an 'easy' five miles on tarmac tonight, i twisted my ankle running on an icy Winter hill last Wednesday night.

10 miles mainly off road through Alkrington Woods, Blackley Forest and Heaton Park..most enjoyable.
To the Regiment - I Wish I Was There
12 mile fell race.
Not much climbing tbh. Steep right fom the start but then flattish but very poor paths around Crummock and Buttermere.
Managed sixth.
Was shocked at how heavy my legs started to feel after about 45 mins, guess thats 'cos i train mostly on road eh?
