    Fantastic weather, and home in time for tea. What a classic race, ~I cant wait to do more races in the lakes this year.
    Good to see some familiar faces too.
    I managed 1:48 exactly, well chuffed as I thought I would have been closer to 2hrs. Loved the decents off coniston, managed a fairly straight line: 20 mins from top to bottom. Wahoo!!

    It was for me.

    Managed to land awkwardly and have broken the lower part of my fibula. Off to hospital any minute to have it plated.

    Bugger. Probably not doing the Old Counties any more!!!!!

    PS Many thanks to the Steel family from NFR who looked after me 'til Fell Rescue arrived.......what a brilliant job they do. Donation will be in the post once I get sorted.
