But aren't you more of a NE Pony? Lordstones/Wainstones clashes with it, a classic in its own right, and probably nearer home for you. Not that you wouldn't be welcome in West Yorkshire, of course.
Live in North Yorkshire TF! 20 mins from Lordstones! But doing Ripon 10 Trail instead! Entered it before I knew about L/W. I'm kind of just getting to grips with organising some races...didn't realise there were so many!

I staggered round Malhamdale Meander (23M) on Saturday with Lady Slugge
achieved long-held ambition of finishing LAST runner!
newly signed-up Pony SteveS flew round in 3:23 apparently
GLORIOUS day in all respects - thoroughly recommended

Stolly - I was the one er... wearing a Fell Ponies vest
Lady Slugge was the one with the red hair/cap/long trousers
we formed up quite close to 9:30 and lurked uncertainly near the back of the "pack" (of 17 other runners!)... and watched in astonishment as everyone went tearing off ahead of us
we did overtake a few walkers though
