Duddon Fell Race

I haven't ruled out doing the short route yet (although don't tell Lady Slugge!)

Can anybody tell me -
I haven't recced it and I don't even really know the area that well -
would I be OK to do it?
(bearing in mind I'll be near the back and unable to see the person in front of me!)

I too am considering the short route as a first race back after injury, however if all is well, I may end up on the full race. I'll be entering on the day , so I hope it's not too popular.

think i may do saddleworth the day after instead,would love to go under 25 minutes there,maybe duddon is a big step for my first long race,going to do borrowdale though definitly,going to do kinder trog and holme moss in the build up to it aswell
