    Starting to toy with the idea of breaking my habit and staying over after the race (Duddon that is) as am doing a long day out on the Sunday...where you all staying?

    See you lot up there, I'm going for a trot round, and I think I'll camp at Turner Farm. Can't be as bad as camping at Helvellyn, the wind broke one of my poles

    Totally unconnected, there's a pub nearby isn't there?

    There certainly is. The Newfield is about a 10 minute walk from the campsite, usually slightly longer on the way back
