    Re: Tonights music

Went down to hotel nightclub / bar to see all girl international band Climaxx. Their poster said "Rock your body, mind & soul with Retro, Rhythm & Blues compositions combined with enthralling dance sequences". Sadly my body, mind & soul weren't rocked even after a couple of Bacacardi and Cokes and some Tiger beers

If the other warning signals weren't enough, you should have been alerted by the double xx in 'Climaxx'...
Tonight I'm listening to Pendulum, In Silico. I know the d 'n' b purists hate it, but I think it works. Gets me jumping up and down in the kitchen anyhow. (Who needs a nightclub when there are dishes to be washed?)

back to the 70's tonight. The pianist scared us when we were kids, and he still does, over 30 years later.

May I join you in a different kind of 70's. Just stuck a tad of purple on the ipod and it makes the bus journey to work THAT much better

Best washing up soundtrack provided by Craig Charles in his Funk n Soul show on BBC 6 Music (6-9 Sat evenings)

Thanks, but I think it says a lot about me that it's a highlight of my Saturday - doing the dishes rather than going out and getting funky!

Quite simply, the now defunct Soundgarden and a track from their last album:
