Just checking in as 3rd Pony at Kinder Trog

Great Running by Fleeter and Merrylegs - didn't see you before start, and no chance thereafter!

Keep meaning to ask - are there any other Ponies doing Snowdon?

oh, and what about 3 Shires? is that still a goer for a bit of a meet-up?
(cos I will probably have to schedule a recce for that if I'm going to consider doing the race)

I am hoping to make The Three Shires as recommended by DJ, but it all depends on this stupid foot getting better. Every time I walk somewhere...only as far as round the supermarket at the mo...it swells up! I'm sick as a chip! Depression is rapidly setting in!

Good on yer Daz for getting a ponies bronze at the Kinder Trog

Hang in there MG! Keep doing a bit in the gym and you won't loose any fitness. Just don't rush back and make it worse!

No chance of me rushing anywhere at the mo DT! Just totally fed up with it! Can't believe this has happened practically as soon I start to get the confidence to do some events! And over the summer too...it's a real b*****!
How's your knees now? Better I hope! And have your toes grown back yet after the Yoredale!

Knees not right at all but went to see physio last week and they think might get me moving again! Asked if I did any stretching - I said no, I'm a fellrunner; we drink beer instead! Toes still tingling three weeks after Y'dale but did a nice 3hour walk over local hills y'day

Stretching is good! But so is beer (well shandy!) and wine and cider (especially the pear variety)

Well Done Daz! Hope you enjoyed the route at Kinder. I'm not a fan of the kinder plateau myself.
