    Same here.

    Went for a potter round the southern loop from the Holme moss mast. Ended up having to don full-body cover - in June!! It crosses some bleak country and the lines in places are not obvious. It will be a very condition dependant race - especially if the clag is down...

    Know what you mean, cycled over Holme Moss many times and its always windy and bleak when i've done it even in summer. Can imagine what the open moorland is like Looking forward to it though

    This race is now a possibility for Sunday. More my thing than the Bollington race.

    I'm not likely to be doing it "flat out" if I make it. Just making most of chance to get three hours or so in on the hills.

    It is a good tough race. Done it in scorching hot conditions and also wet and windy conditions.
    Can't make it this year, on hols,West coast of Ireland. No running just lots of walking ( AND Guinness )
