Any idea when this is likely to be taking place?
Also what would be good races to enter prior to this as part of training for it?

It will be the beginning of August probably. As for fell races before, I'd recommend the 3 Shires (September?), the Langdale Horseshoe (October?), the Full Tour Of Pendle (November) and Edale (next March). Oh and the 3 Peaks next April if you can get in. Almost certainly you will need to have run a couple of races like that to be accepted for the race.
I'd also recommend going up Great Gable and running like a lunatic down to Honiston a few times.

yep! but if you dig about especially on last years threads when I was recceing the thing every 5 minutes there's LOTS of helpful hints and route tips.
Entry going here for this race asked everyone at my club no one seems to have come forward so it is now open to you forumites!!
Holiday has arisen. Gutted to miss this to be honest, and certainly the night DO!!!!
