    Jamie - Glad you had a good run. Worth a rest sometimes. I have Anglezarke Amble on my list. But loads before then too! Rombald Stride the week before has loads of runners in.

    I went down to Derbys to see family over Christmas and had a little chuckle to myself when saw the Rotherham junction on the M1. Y'dale entry form is filled in, 50 certificate photo-copied, just got to write the cheque!

    Thinking about doing it again, now I know the route a bit better it would be nice to try a 50 without adding on a couple of miles by going wrong.

    Surely the weather has to be better this time My maps had disintegrated by the time I got to that ruined abbey.

    I can remember more good paths than I can muddy fields, is that just because I've blacked out the worst bits?

    Thinking of going back for the same reasons....less than 52 miles would be good!

    it does help to know the route and we can't be that unlucky with the weather twice in a row surely?!
