i think expect the worst the weather can throw at you on a long lakes race then prepare for it. if you carry too much gear so be it, im not going to be up with simon booth or lloyd taggart so whats the worry. get round in canny style and finish as well as i can but be prepared for sh**e weather. my mate got hypothermia on the great lakes run going over similar ground ( midsummers day)
