    What a cracking race!!
Toughest terrain I've ever been on, made for an extreme 17miles, err well alittle more than that actually, I got lost coming off gable... but the guy we all followed did look like he knew where he was going and he'd run it before too, you never can tell eh?
None the less, I enjoyed the last descent through the quarry, mines, terrific.
A great atmosphere coming up to finish line too, with the loudspeaker, very exciting, excellent!
Thanks go to all the kind folks (and marshalls) for their support of food and drinks along the way. The weather was good but very wet underfoot (understatment).
Anyway, I've babbled on too long here (still delirious), off to get cleaned up and eat lots of chocolate.

    Simon won (hoorah!), Lloyd 2nd.

Allegedly Rob J was 2 mins ahead of Simon and got lost coming off Gable. He finishd 16th or so.

Janet McIver won (Jackie L dropped out)

Can't remember the exact order, but it was there about the positions below...

    6 Pete Vale
    7 Ian Holmes
    8 Mark Palmer
    9 Ben Abdelnoor
    10 Gary Devine
    11 Jim Davies
    12 Karl Gray

Ben Bardsley? Possibly also went AWOL.

Without a doubt the hardest thing I've ever done! Convinced myself I was going to pack in at Honister but got a second wind and plodded on.Many thanks to all marshalls/organisers and supporters on the route who handed out drinks/sweeties.
