ah ha I did Radcliffe yesterday as well!

    1:24.54 ish!

Quite pleased as I'd said to myself anything under 1:30 and I'd be happy, got dragged round by the group I was with!

Thou got myself a nice black toe nail for my efforts and legs, particularly my calfs are sore today, worse than after winter hill!

Think I might have a day off today!

Friday evening - 8 miles XC, nice and muddy. Saturday, Sunday and today: heavy chest cold, cough, bunged up nose. Bugger!

Swam an easy mile of breast-stroke at Rochdale baths at dinner-time in an attempt to loosen up my muscles after yesterdays trail race. I actually quite enjoyed it as well.

Now then Dom, if ever there was a frustrated and disheartened post that was it. I recognise the disappointment in that post only to well.

Keep your chin up matey, how about getting yourself an alternative training format. Swimming or cycling perhaps?

Five miles steady at 6.30 AM today, in temperature of 7 deg Farenheit. New Hampshire is a lot colder than the old one!
