    Re: Fell Ponies??

The first Pony team in a relay, and we started as we mean to go on, by being total ballbags, getting lost and coming last.

Penguin, Woger, Murky Cloud and myself had a go at Brett's "Lets Get Lost In Obscure Parts Of Yorkshire And Then Retire To The Pub And Drink Dirty Beer Way Welay".

Woger led out and disappointingly failed to get lost, and Penguin launched himself into Leg 2. I meanwhile was waiting somewhere that wasn't the changeover, and by the time I started wondering where all the runners were, Pengy had run through to do Leg 3. Oh dear, how sad, never mind

I drove round to the Leg 4 changeover, and settled down to a long wait, chuckling gently to myself. Meanwhile Pengy was interupting the duelling ukeles to ask the way. When they stopped commenting on his "purdy face" and asking him to squeal like a piggy, he realised he'd strayed into Hebden Bridge, and had to retrace his steps. Eventually our team was reunited and trotted into the pub to be fed chile and have sweets thrown at us by small boys.

Fine effort and thanks for the invite Brett

Ponydom isn't a club, its a state of mind, and I suspect you were a cockbag before you were a pony, and will be ever after.

I trust you will still be a Pony when it matters (whenever that is...)
