    Re: Todays Bike Ride

Well, I've already got most of the kit. My bike goes just as well as a megabucks Divorcocycle or some black plastic framed Scott thingy an' I got padded shorts and a funny helmet. Mindyou, I was casting jealous eyes at Toffers swanky CO2 tyre inflater! And I suppose I'll want a computer thingy but thats hardly gonna bust the bank is it??

    Re: Todays Bike Ride

14 mile with my 11 year old son over White hill moor.
Clag, wind, rain and he loved it.
Even the point when he fell off up hill and rolled down a 7 foot ditch into long grass, the only bit visable was his trainers and socks, but he was laughing his head off.
He goes down hill better than me on the rough stuff

fearless them kids are, wish I could inject a bit of the fearlessness - I go so slow on my bike that I fall off more I bashed my face on the handle bars mtn biking the other week and gave myself a black eye

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear.
Pootling around the Menswear section of a large London Department Store whilst the ladies of the household gorged themselveas in the Lingerie section (or whatever it is they do...a dark mystery. Men not allowed) when I came across a strategically placed section offering velocipede pornography....acres of shimmering carbon fibre, rainbow lycra and twinkling gadgets. I got a distinctly wet gusset. Am I in trouble?
