    Re: Hodder Valley Show

Race is on, show is on. Spoke to chairman of show yesterday. As W.D. has said slight change of venue due to waterlogging of fields. Route is basically the same apart form run in/out which now crosses the river via a bridge as opposed to a wade!

I have attempted a rough image of route on Google maps..

let me know if it works!

Heading to this race tomorrow with a couple of club runners and our club stalwart Joe who will offer to marshall if required.

    See you there!

Ooh, that looked like hard work. Such a shame I didn't do it

I took some photos in between bouts of abuse which are here http://www.flickr.com/photos/3003638...7607268033543/

Thanks to everyone who organised the event and marshalled on the race, well done! That, in my opinion, in the best Cat 'A' Short race in the Lancashire area.

great day out that, quite a tough little route too, what with that sinking feeling I kept getting, well worth the trip for the Helsby gang, and rounded off with some tasty ribble gold too. Good to see the friendly faces of bogtrotter and pudgy!

Pudgy, looked as if the leading V60 was giving YOU a fair bit of abuse from that photograph.
A big thank you to everyone that entered and made a good race out of one of our local events.
