    That's brilliant news, a massive thank you must go to the race orgainsers for working so hard to make this happen. I did this race last year and it was my first Lakeland Fell Race. I would recommend it to anyone it's an absolute classic. Unfortunately can't make it this year so good luck to everyone that is running.

    It's not as rocky as the Ben, Daz so you might finish in one piece on Saturday. Hope the 'Ben scars' have healed.........ouch!

    Need to plan better forgot I'd promised to do an airport run on Saturday at 13:00 so no chance of doing the race. Looks like its the Stanage Struggle on Sunday instead.

    Gutted !

    I'll not be able to try it now. We're camping for the weekend but bringing the kids and the responsible adult that was going to take care of them won't be coming so I'll be babysitting whilst my mate does the race.

    I've also done something to my knee, it's not been right since last Friday so I'll try taking a week off.
