Only two weeks to go and the week dry weather has started to dry out Derwent Edge...sort of.

Aye, was out around Mickleden and Cut Gate this am and still wet in places. Didn't meet the bog monster today but I sense he's lurking just below the surface...

Whilst out on a training excercise WMRT search Dog Bryn was involved in an awful accident resulting in a very severe injury to one of it's legs. The result is around 12-18 months convelesence and a vets bill around £4,000 which the handler is having to pay.

Poor critter, hope he recovers and is well looked after. Was he not insured by PetPlan or some such then?
