Plenty of spare tubes, puncture repair kit and a couple of spare wheels for sunday, oh and a spare tyre round me waist

ride yer bike "lightly"...don't tek risks on the rough descents...'specially Whernside's "slabs"...otherwise tha'll end up fekkin 'round mendin punctures all day long

I rode this event 'bout 8 times int'nineties 'n never 'ad a puncture

Good luck owd fella...should be a dry un hopefully.

What club's tha ridin fo'?...then Will Marsh 'n I can gi' thi a shout.

Had a bloody marvelous day out, spent most of it in the good company of Stringman, you were right mate, that first pint never touched the sides
Rob Jebb...................what can you say....amazing. No waiting to get over the stile at the top of Simon Fell or queuing for the bar afterwards for this speed merchant
The weather was great, cracking view of the Howgills and Lake District from the top of Whernside. Pen-y-Gent looked enormous as we approached up the path of pain, even more painful coming back down
Mrs Merrylegs and the mini's did a cracking job as support, but could'nt catch me from Ribblehead back to Horton. Ran out of water halfway up PYG, big thanks to the couple who were handing some out
