Score is good fun, but if you have chance to get in a team doing B go for it and put your entry in earlier next year for LS.

Hello - my partner has had to pull out due to unexpected work committments so I am looking for a replacement.
I am an experienced ultra, trail and fell runner and have done the OMM B class before. This is my first crack at A class and I am aiming to be in the top 50%, maybe higher. More important is to have a cracking weekend on the hills though.

Didn't long score winner do more miles than elite winners last year? Or was that just rumor and Chinese whispers?

...there are some up on the OMM discussion forum ....my thing is, ignore em!!! Look at the BBC or similar site on Wednesday and spend rest of time prepping!!!
....and no amount of training this weekend will help us next weekend!!
