Just off thread Alphin - when is your next night run around the Dovestones res's area ? As I'm only a 20 min drive away have been meaning to get up there meself during the week as an alternative to doing laps of playing fields on my doorstep.

Tonight me and Fleeter are meeting at 5.30pm for an hour or so around around The Chew edges, if are free !

I'm working this saturday but a group of us are meeting on Sunday 2/11/08 9am at The Clarence to car share upto Snoopys layby....Blackhill to Crowden reccy return via Tooleyshaw.....will PM you my mobile number ...

I have not done this race before so I was wondering if there is any "official" transport from Edale to Marsden on the day of the run or does everyone arrange their own transport to Marsden?

Hi mate,
You will need a support driver who meets you at Crowden and then again on The Snake pass.....No official transport from Edale....

ok thanks Alphin, sounds like I will have to ask Mrs Alf nicely for her chaufering services on the day. I assume you mentioned Crowden/Snake in case I need to drop out?
