5 miles around Ashworth valley and Jumbles ressy. Moobs bouncing all over the place, generally scaring whatever wildlife was around. Paranoia set in at various stages of the run,any miniscule twinge or different feeling convinced me that the problem would return!

Touch wood, all is well, im icing the area now according to physios instructions.

What a good boy i am.

11 miles over Bleaklow 1300ft, slow run in boots to protect my toe.
I saw Pennine trudging up towards Shelf moor but they were too far away to shout abuse.
Lots of ice and a biting wind esp on the return. Loads of studmarks on show. Didn't see Alf though. I think BB was out there later today.

steady trot over Bowland with Darth- around 10 miles and 2000ft of climbing. Semi frozen ground on tops, water bloody freezing. On long climbs could still feel tiredness in legs from Pendle. Visibility excellent - could see good chunks of lake distict and yorkshire 3 peaks. Bitting wind when not sheltered, good morning out thou.

Are there any hills left round there? you must be wearing them out the amount of miles you are doing

Never been on Alphin (the Hill) I'll have to take a trip up there.

I am shocked you havent been on Alphin. Its a great run up it. And then a lovely run across the tops.

11 miles for me all on roads. Warm up, 5 x 5mins hard, warm down. Marathon 7 days away.

    107 kms on the bike...

Hillier than I hoped for, so it was a bit slow going in places, what with now not having run for 4 weeks and only being back on the bike for a week, but a great ride!
