    Re: Fell Ponies??

Could that possibly be Mr and Mrs Amex?
For a bonus point, I would also be prepared to reveal the identity of a BLACK vested Pony spotted at the same event,
AND a Pony incognito,,,,, (but that's a trick question)...

Correct my first race for 4 months and bloody mrs Amex wants to do her first fell race, with the words don't leave me ringing in my ears we approach the start line, was good to see Bret and tussockface, and a few others, but off we set!
OMG that first hill woke me up then a steady pace all way round, ok not a steady pace a bloody slow one even by my poor poor standards, but fair play to Mrs Amex she kept plodding.
Finished she did, strong with the ponies is she! (Yoda) now i don't know about other fell runners but i always make a point of thanking every Marshall on route, with out them the races would not happen, Mrs Amex did the same not cos she knew but just polite, on way back in car she said " i am amazed at how friendly everybody is"
Just a point so we all don't forget it#s a friendly sport and even outsiders who have a go for the first time can see that.

Top post Mr Incredible Shrinking Willy
You'll have to introduce Mrs Amex to Mrs Merrylegs, see if she drag her out running. On second thoughts, no, she might take to it then my running career's over, Daddy day care

    Re: Fell Ponies??

Ive finally been persuaded to join this facebook bollocks and now understand what Stuart Smith was on about when he told me he'd set up a Fell Ponies page...

There are only about 15 of us on it at the moment so what are you all waiting for....it seems a good way to keep in touch.

I'll be posting some homoerotic photos of Fellmonster on there shortly to encourage you all....
