Tanners - Yeoman Hey Res - Dovvies Quarries - Plantation - Greenfield...1:14:31hr....Recovery Run...

What a fantastic evening, the colours in The Chew were amazing, not a ripple on Dovestones Res (like glass) and the gritstone as I ran through the quarries was lit almost a deep amber by the setting sun...headtorch to finish....

Some runs, the memory will stay with you for a long long time, this was one of those runs

It sure was fleeter. I thought it was you, but wanted to get across the road and on with my hard effort run. was doing 15 mins warm, 30 mins at marathon pace, 15 mins warm down. Just hit 15 mins in the hard run bit when I passed you.

Thats my marathon training done now apart from 6 mile tomorrow night and 4 mile when I get to Florence . Bring it on!!!

Keep up the running Andy and if you are not going to watch or support your dad at Tankys pop across and do the Gravy Pud.

Approx 8 mile road tonight with the club with a few hill sprints thrown in. Bloody hard work, would never work that hard when out on my own.

4m on road to work, fartleked it, 90 secs hard, 90 secs easy all the way including up Old Ripponden Bank, for those doing leg 1 of the CW relay, you'll be coming down it into Ripponden.
4m plod on road back from work, bloody nippy in shorts.

Last night: Club run up Pendle. Lovely clear, dry, cold night. Very dark especially as my head torch batteries started to fade. Felt crap before the run and great after. 75 mins
